Project overview:

LISCORTES is a private limited company with 2 individual partners, founded in November 1977, which produces metal solutions for industry in general, from the point of view of civil locksmithing, metalworking and metal constructions, based on the projects required by clients and previously analyzed by the company’s technicians.

It is a Micro Company, according to the SME Certificate with decision date of 14.08.2017, whose headquarters and industrial facilities are located in Leiria. With this project, a candidate for Call 07/SI/2017, the company says it intends to produce a new product, which it calls a green building with a pioneering design, prefabricated in a Light Steel Framing (LSF) structure and insulated with plasterboard, to operate in new international markets and respond to requests from the agri-food sector.

In order to achieve its objectives, the company will have to move premises, as the current ones are not suitable for this purpose, and this change will also entail an increase in production capacity, with the head office and all industrial activity moving to the new location on Rua das Fontainhas, also in Leiria.

The Investment Plan includes a construction component/refurbishment work in the new facilities, the acquisition of operational/production equipment, such as overhead cranes, paint booth and painting machine, drilling, welding and mechanical joining equipment, and a pressurized air system, as well as metrology equipment, a self-consumption and lighting system, hardware, and software (BIM, ERP, website and digital marketing tools). Expenditure on technical assistance – IT consultancy and the implementation of quality certification – and prospecting new markets and taking part in international fairs is also planned.
